Refuse to be a Victim Class

Our next class is scheduled for Thursday, December 27th, 2018 6:00pm-9:00pm approx

We never think a crime can happen to us, until it actually does. While sometimes unfortunate things do happen unexpectedly, it is important to be equipped with the knowledge and skills for personal safety and crime prevention. Having a personal safety strategy in place and knowing the techniques and tactics you can use to avoid becoming an easy victim can help you live smarter and be safer.

“Crimes of Opportunity” are those committed without planning or forethought; when criminals realize they have a chance to commit a crime, they seize the opportunity. Don’t be an easy target. We can all pinpoint times where we’ve made ourselves an easy target – whether it was keeping our heads buried in our phones, parking in a dimly lit area at night, or leaving our houses or cars unlocked. But there are many more, less obvious situations that make us vulnerable as well.

The Refuse To Be A Victim® program teaches the tips and techniques you need to be alerted to dangerous situations and to avoid becoming a victim.
This is a great course that is a non-firearms related and is more geared toward teaching attendees to be more self-aware and prepared.
    Topics covered include:

Mental Preparedness- Prepare yourself for any situation that may arise

Home Security- Securing what’s inside your house, as well as outside your house

Physical Security- Don’t ignore your instincts – if something feels wrong, it probably is!

Travel Security- Making sure you are safe no matter where you are

Cyber Security- Technological advances have made individuals more vulnerable to being victimized

Self-Defense Training- Learn what types of training you can take to protect yourself

Automobile Security- Equip yourself with the necessities for any type of situation

Personal Defense Devices- Learn about & watch demonstrations about a wide variety of tools that you can use for personal protection

Psychology of Criminals- Understand what makes a criminal a predator and how to outsmart them before they target you.
